Year 4 & 5 were extremely fortunate to have a visit from students taking the Museum Studies at the University of Leicester who brought some very special items. Each class had the opportunity to study artefacts from an era in History based upon their recent topics. Year 5 were tested on their knowledge of Ancient Egypt and looked at replicas of statues and items found in the British Museum. Year 4 looked at items from the Viking area -  looking at jewellery and armour from this fascinating period. Both classes thoroughly enjoyed the experience and relished the chance to ask thought provoking questions about the items.
