National Cancer Day

National Cancer Day

On Tuesday 4th February, our school acknowledged National Cancer Day. The day provided an important opportunity for us to raise awareness and show support for those within our wider community who are affected by cancer. Our pastoral team delivered a sensitive and age‑appropriate assembly to help children understand the significance of the occasion. To mark the day, pupils were invited to come to school dressed in either gold or yellow/blue. All donations went directly to PASIC, a local charity that provides vital support to children and young people with cancer, as well as their families, across the East Midlands. The day gave our school community an opportunity to come together, promote understanding, and offer encouragement to a remarkable young person within our school.
