Royal British Legion - Poppy Appeal

Townlands annually support the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and sells poppies and poppy resources (zip pulls, reflectors, wrist bands) in order to raise much needed funds for this worthwhile cause.

The School Council went to the cenotaph in Earl Shilton to represent Townlands at the remembrance service and the children showed great respect.  Year six placed a wreath.

The whole school gather for a service of remembrance, the children lead this service.  Each class have the opportunity to write a prayer and place a poppy on the school commemoration obelisk.
