Visit to the Jain Temple Leicester
Year 3 children visited the Jain Temple in Leicester. Children learnt about the ancient religion and had an opportunity to find out about this faith from people within the Jain community. The children saw elaborate mirror work, marble carvings, people worshiping and they were also invited to take part in a 'thank you' ceremony. All of the children were very respectful and listened carefully and attentively to the speaker.
