Here at Townlands, we work closely with Operation Encompass, a scheme to share with police, information we may receive about reports of domestic abuse, where children of school age are in the household. When Police attend an incident of domestic violence/abuse, the school will be informed first thing the next morning. This commenced in Leicestershire County in September 2015. By sharing this information parents affected by domestic abuse will know that they can approach the school.
