I am a mother of one child, who studied at Townlands and I wanted to support the school which played such an important role in my child’s life.
 
I became a Parent Governor in October 2014; prior to that I was an active member of our Parent Teacher’s Association for just under two years. I was Vice Chair of the Governing Body at Townlands for just over three years before taking on the role of Chair in June 2019.

 

My professional background is in the financial services sector, where I have now worked for over 25 years. My work experience brings me a skill set that I use to support the school wherever possible.

 

In my personal life I am a Unit Helper at our local 3rd Earl Shilton Guides, I manage the Neighbourhood Watch scheme for my area and I love to walk my dogs.
