Townlands C of E Primary Academy are proud to be a part of TELA – Thomas Estley Learning Alliance. TELA is a group of 26 Primary Schools and 15 Secondary Schools who work together collaboratively across South Leicestershire.
TELA Primary Head Teachers meet every half term. All schools that are part of the teaching school alliance benefit from effective support which is reflected through sharing best practice.
The head teacher’s agenda enables feedback and updates on the many groups that are held to support good practice and the wide range of opportunities for teaching staff and support staff to meet. This has a direct impact on improving learning outcomes for pupils and continued professional development of teachers and potential teachers.
